How To Make Biblical
Anointing Oils
Anointing Oil Secrets
The ingredients we use and recommend to make
anointing oils are specifically mentioned in the Bible.
This is to stir the passion in your heart to find out what God
really says in His Word. Often times you will be
surprised to find a particular plant, tree, flower, is
actually mentioned in the scriptures.
Before beginning to prepare an anointing oil you
will need to spend time in prayer and receive God's direction
about which essential oils, herbs or scents to use.
There are many plants, flowers, herbs, fruit and trees
mentioned in the bible. Often times the Holy Spirit will
direct you to create a blend that represents a
special need in your life or a loved one.
The scriptures surrounding each plant, flower,
herb, fruit or tree in the bible are multi-faceted. Only
through time in prayer will you be able to receive the full
hidden manna in the word the Lord wants to reveal to
you.
There are many different ways to prepare
anointing oils. You can use pure essential oils, fresh herbs
and flowers, dried herbs, or resins. Thus, you will need
to pray and ask the Lord for direction about which type of
ingredient to use. You will also need to pray which
carrier oil to use. All anointing oils are diluted or
infused in a carrier oil.
Below is a list of some of the plants,
herbs, resins, trees and flowers mentioned in the bible. Many
are available in a essential oil, absolute, dry plant material
or resin form. It essential to learn about the safety
information of plants and essences you plan on working with
as some can be hazardous if used inappropriately. We
recommend reading The
Illustrated Encyclopedia of Essential Oils written by Julia Lawless.
